Mayors bike through Salt Lake City for Mayor's Bike to Work Day

The grand finale of Bike Month was the annual Mayor's Bike to Work Day on Tuesday. Salt Lake City Mayor Jackie Biskupski, Salt Lake County Mayor Ben McAdams and other mayors from throughout the Salt Lake Valley led cyclists from the Sugar House Draw (the bike/pedestrian tunnel under 1300 East and 2150 South), along the S-Line Greenway and the 600 East Bicycle Boulevard, ending at Salt Lake City Hall.

Bike month encourages cycling as a transportation mode as well as a recreational activity and emphasizes bicycle awareness and safety.
